Event Setup

Welcome to MatBoss University. In this tutorial we'll cover how to set up an event for recording. Please note, it is important to ensure that your devices are fully charged and you have ample storage space available before arriving at the event.

From the Events tab on your recording device, you can see your upcoming, previous or all events in this view. You can also switch Scorebooks via the drop-down at the top of the window.

Click into the event that you are preparing for. Select the edit icon to add the opposing team's roster from TrackWrestling. Touch the "Select from TrackWrestling" button to find and select the team that you are competing against and touch "Save" to confirm. Next, touch "Add Matches" to add specific bouts within this event and touch "Add" to confirm. Based on the event you select, MatBoss will pre-build all matches for your event.

To change wrestlers before recording, you can do so from the event screen. Simply touch the "Edit" icon in the lower right hand corner of each match. Edit the wrestler details via the popup displayed for each match.

You are now ready to begin recording. Touch the record match link below the bout you would like to record and you will be taken to the recording screen. Detailed instructions for recording and scoring a match are covered in a separate video.
