Your wrestlers should join a club: seven reasons why
Over the past few years, wrestling clubs have increased throughout the country. Whether a die-hard year-round wrestler or a novice looking to get in better shape, clubs offer wrestlers and coaches additional opportunities that may not be provided by a school or community teams. We asked Southern Maryland Wrestling Club Head Coach and founder Jason Gabrielson why kids of any age should join a club. Gabrielson was twice an NCAA Division I tournament qualifier at Edinboro and Millersville. He is the new head coach at St. Marys Ryken High School in Southern Maryland.
