MatBoss caught up with David Klingel, the athletic director of South River High School in Maryland. Klingel has been leading the Seahawks athletic programs for 17 years. His leadership style has proven effective. Klingel has twice been named the District V Athletic Director of the Year. Furthermore, since taking over South River Athletics in 2006, the athletic teams have won 19 state championships compared to seven from 1979 - 2005. From Klingel's perspective, being a good or bad coach comes down to a few simple characteristics.
